vCIO Ltd. LLC cares about the community. In particular our Youth, the Hope for our Future. To that end we pledge to continue our 25 year tradition of serving the community by providing low-cost and no-cost IT solutions for select youth organizations.
All About The Kids!
Rick Wagoner, President of vCIO Ltd. has owned a couple of local MSPs (Managed Service Providers) over the past 30 years. Starting with CompuTutor in 1993, which became CompuDoctor in 1998 and continued until a merger in 2009, continuing with Trust IT and CommonSense IT, and currently running vCIO, Ltd., Rick and his teammates have consistently provided Pro-Bono IT services to select youth advancement and mentoring organizations. These services include Strategic IT Planning, IT Consulting, Business Continuity Planning, IT Security Consulting, Fractional CIO, Hardware and Software procurement and more.

The Dell Curry Foundation - Together we Built and Opened several local Computer Learning Centers in the early 2000's that focused on after-school care and educational assistance with both computers and homework studies.
Athletes United for Youth - An outgrowth of The Dell Curry Foundation, AUFY continued to fund and commission basketball tournaments, and was the result of ESPN's Jay Bilas and Steve Smith Jr.'s desire to get involved with the good works Dell Curry was doing.
Charlotte Police Athletic Activities League - Had a single location for their after-school care program, which we furnished with the technology to get the job done right in conjunction with partners Toshiba and Microsoft.
National Police Athletic Activities League - Impressed with the work CPAL was doing, the CPAL director was promoted to Director of National PAL. We currently support this organizations technology initiatives.
Hoodie's House of Hope for Youth - Provides local community support in Charlotte, NC, New York City, and Haiti. We are currently involved in this organization and are committed to continue with them into the foreseeable future.
